1. Purchasing Your Ticket

Upon purchasing your chosen workshop, you will receive a confirmation email with a single attachment. This attachment is your ticket. If you ordered multiple seats, you will still only receive one ticket download for they are all the same. For entry to the workshop, you will show your email confirmation and your name/number of seats purchased will be on the sign in sheet at the front of the venue. You do not have to print your ticket. There will be separate tickets to enter for the free raffle.

2. Arrival to Workshop

Sign in, grab a seat and a drink. There are seat numbers, but this is simply for when you sign up for your fragrances later in the workshop. Take some time to read over the instructions. If you are interested in upgrading your jar to a 12 oz luxury jar, please let your instructor know! It is $12 for a larger jar, more wax, and [depending on the supplier/potency percentage] fragrance oil. While we are waiting for everyone to arrive (or 15 min past the planned event time) please feel free to shop at the market table. Please be mindful that these candles at the market table are all for sale. These fragrances are not the fragrances you will have to choose from in the next step.

3. Selecting a Fragrance

Table by table, you will approach the fragrance bar. Your workshop fragrance bar is based on the theme of your chosen workshop event. For example, Galentines (Valentines Cookie, Merlot, Champagne, Black Ice, Chocolate Cupcake…), Saint Patricks (Aloe, Green Clover, Light Lager, Tobacco and Whiskey…), Nashville (Maple Bourbon, Great Smoky Mountains, Tobacco Pipe..) and so forth. There will be a clipboard where you will list your name, seat number , first and second choice of fragrance.

REMINDER: You are choosing your fragrance from the line of fragrance oil bottles, NOT from the finished candles on the market table. If you like, ask your instructor if your workshop has any fragrances out that possibly resemble a scent that is in a finished market candle for sale. Again, your fragrance options will be based on the theme of your chosen workshop event. You’re responsible for the fragrance you choose!

SAFETY: Due to the potential flammable nature of the incorrect amount of calculated fragrance added to a candle, your instructor will premeasure and deliver your chosen scent to you.

OTHER: Our featured cannabis strain fragrance bar is themed and based off of cannabis strains (i.e. Pineapple Mango for Pineapple Express, Dark Violet Musk for Purple Haze, etc.) There is no THC in these candles or fragrances due to legal, licensing and health reasons.

4. Hot Wax

You will receive the designated amount of wax to fit your standard jar, or upgraded jar. Some workshops you will be guided through weighing your own wax. Wax will be very hot, sometimes up to 240 degrees Fahrenheit. You will use your thermometer to monitor your wax temperature. Add fragrance oil when the wax temperature drops below a specific temperature. Mix for 2-3 minutes, then pour into your jar.

SAFETY: Due to liability reasons, with some workshop procedures (depending on event space) your instructor will premeasure your wax and deliver it to you inside your jar or beaker. All underage guests will have wax given to them, they will not be permitted to touch to handle the melter.

5. One Hour To Set

Your candles will require 45 min-1 hour to set. Your instructor will trim your wicks, heat gun the top of your candles to smooth them, and give you a bag for your new creation! Please sit back and enjoy this relaxing hour with your group, OR you may depart at this time and return to our host location for pick up later.
